Panimahawa Ridge Bukidnon

Panimahawa Ridge
Bukidnon 2019

this trek is good for beginners like me =)
I really had fun with my 1st trek 😊

early this month, my bff and me dreamed of climbing mountains. On the middle of September, we decided to head to Panimahawa.

PS an hour before our trek fear knocks on my thinking mind and said
 "kaya mo ba talaga?"
 "you have asthma"
"you did not exercise prior to this day"
"baka umulan wala kang rain coat"
etc
etc

but, well... I just watched my thoughts, asked God's protection and DO IT ANYWAY 😁

so this is our

This is our DIY step on how to get there

1. First of all.. You must contact a guide. In our case my friend decided to chat the Ant Farm on messenger...  the Ant Farm bossing will give you instruction so here is the instruction they give
2. 1st of all, we wanted to see the sunrise so they instructed us to be there at IMPALUTAW elementary school before 3 am
3. since I/we is/are soooooo excited, we rode a bus at Agora Bus Terminal earlier than expected. We rode the bus by 11:30 pm and arrived (super) early, 1:09 am to be exact..
tips: use google maps so that you will reach IMPALUTAW ELEMENTARY SCHOOL WITHOUT Kulba2x
4. Upon arrival we already felt the COLDNESS of the mountain. Its colder than aircon.. HAHA

So we texted the bossing from Ant Farm.
He told us to wait for the habal2 drivers.

few minutes passed,
3 habal2x driver arrived.
we rode a habal2 again...
paid 25 pesos each.

5. Reach the Ant Farm

side comment:
Ant farm is very homie
Guys who seem to be workers in the farm. sleep in hammocks... you can use toilet there for free and you can buy a wooden stick there for only 10 pesos =)

6. Okay we relax our heart and wait for 3 am

7. Decided to start earlier since  their are other trekkers who looks so armed ready

8. 2:30 to 4:30 we started and ended our at the PANIMAHAWA RIDGE.  We enjoyed the trek so much...
It was not that hard as long as you walk on your own pace.  =)
Do not be bother being left behind, its really not scary.... there are marks along the road so you will never be lost...

so thats it!!!
